I would like to take this time to tell you about us. My name is Kevin and my lovely and partner in this adventure is Julie. We have 4 lovely kids that have been a tremendous help to us getting into this adventure and enjoying it all the way. Our oldest is John and he started showing goats but graduated up to steers. Shelby has stuck with goats all along. She is the one that got me hooked in the goat business and her little sisters. Kelsey and Katie are just getting started but are doing very good. With 2 reserve champions this past year out of 3 girls I think were are off to a good start.
I was raised on a farm and we always has a lot of cattle but we were also big in the hay business. So the earlier mornings and late nights and all the doctoring came pretty easy to me. Julie is different she likes her sleep on weekends and since she is a school teacher she says she deserves it so I am not going to argue with her on that point so I am the early morning person and i take care of all the animals in the mornings.
